Here it is all sanded and buffed out. The picture doesn't do it justice, there's some dust on the bottom and a bit of glare but it turned out almost new. It took 5 different stages of sanding and a bunch of buffing to get to this point. I didn't keep track but I'd say I have at least 60 hours in this part.
 
I practiced drilling the holes for the bulkheads on some scrap acrylic with limited success. I used a decent drill and new carbide tipped hole saws but the bit kept chattering and sticking. All the things I read said just take it slow and it's easy but this is one thing that didn't work out. My buddy Mike from Central Ohio Discus and Stingray came over and knocked out 5 holes for 2" bulkheads in no time at all.
