little update ... I had to resilicone the front wall ... there was a chip in the glass and it started to chip off MORE AND MORE AND MORE - kind of a BIG FLAKE that came off ... I will either get a new front wall or .. just "flip" the side ...

resiliconed the wall, so far so good, no leaks haha - got everything ready to go - the only thing that's missing is the sand + the soil is getting demineralized ... ahhh what a long process !

CO2 tank + ph controller + heating cable + 2x 150W metal halide 8000k and 6500k + fluorite + top soil + eco complete + DIY wet-dry made outta 35 gal tank + mag drive pump + hmmm idk =) we'll see soon !

any ideas how to speed up the demineralization process ?!

basically, if you would put a top soil without previously "demineralizing" it you won't win with algae
