Great job on that tank Serg. makes me jealous cuz I havent been able to finish either of my tanks, I have everything halfways. That gravel is awsome looks really good, definate props. what are you running for filtration?

Thanks Cesar! I'm not sure where the gravel comes from, it seems more natural than manufactured. It came with like some muddy/sandy residue in the bag so I had to rinse it well. Something tells me this might come from a natural source.

For filtration I'm running two XP3's, an AC110, and a SunSun submersible pump with spraybar and prefilter. Eventually I'll add the other AC110 back onto this setup.

Keep working on the projects man, I know they'll be awesome when you're done. Look how long it took me to get this together. I had it running bare for some time. You have the burden of modifying the stand.

Thanks cich! I think 4x2x2 is a good size show tank for a small place.

Thats a great bunch of fish there! GL with them!

Yeah, that's why I've been selling a lot of bichirs lately.

I'm even debating parting with my 'uber keepers' such as 12" palmas, a 6" green polli, ornate, etc...

I've got some ideas, but nothing special. I've always wanted to keep a group of congo tetras, maybe exodons :naughty:

There are a lot of spots for the bichirs to hide/relax in and around the harscape, but I dunno, I guess I'm just used to seeing wide open tank space, I need to adjust to seeing them in this setup. But with a setup like this, I definitely have to downsize my bichir collection to just a few choice pieces.

I was netting out the two small delhezi earlier and man it was impossible to catch them  But it really showed me the many hiding spots the bichirs have found in the tank.

Thanks for taking the time to net those Serg. Hope that new stuff works out for ya :D

Thank you J! Tank is going to need a major trimming in a week haha

This is the setup I've always wanted, and I owe it to you for the hook up on the rocks and plants!

Thank you for the tips too, if I have half the success you had, this tank will just continue to look better and better :)

no worries bud, let me know if you want that severum in there - trade we had talked about with the bichir sounds fair to me. My kid's obsessed with the bichirs - so when he's happy the fiance's happy...and that makes me happy :)
