Talked my dad out of the lion. So eventually we will put up another tank that is only for a lion and the other fish I've talked him out of (clownfish, angler, marine betta, stripey). So now the only fish I'm worried about is that angel. I really want to get either a passer or blue girdled. A blue face or annularis would be nice but I think they're too big and active for my tank. I found a 55 I want to turn into my sump. Now it's just buying the skimmer and pumps and building the stand while the room is getting finished.

The only thing that bothers me about a Blue Girdled with the other fish you mentioned is that they are somewhat shy when first introduced to the tank. If you do it add the angel before the trigger and wrasse. They also only reach 10 inches as opposed to the Passer's at 14. They are also not as aggressive as the Passers.

Okay I'll definitely consider that. Did you read the post about me switching to passive wrasse species? I've heard that Christmas and yellow wrasse are very calm will a blue girdle still be calmer than them? Also would a blue jaw or pink tail be a better trigger choice? I also think I'm going to have a peacock mantis shrimp living in the refugium just for fun. Will that effect the tank too much? Thnx

Okay another question. Would It be better for me to start with a dwarf angel or two to get used to the dietary and behavior habits of Angels before dropping $100+ on a big true angel like a blue girdled? I was thinking maybe a coral beauty and a lemonpeel? Any ideas?
