If you're interested in getting your own goby, Wetspot has a good selection. Wetspot has the same species labeled as "Flaming Arrow Goby" in the "All Other Fish" section of the stock list, which is at the very bottom of the page.
Ii can't get any fish right now :( school, living in my parents house and no regular job seriously limit my fish buying ability :(

Same issue here, except I work Saturdays and usually get $60-75. There's always a way, you just have to be willing to find it.

I just caught one of the Aegla out and had to take pics. Don't let the lights fool you, this was at night. I caught it out while the lights were off and hurried to turn them on and take pics. The Aegla liked the tilapia, but not the lights. Once I turned them on, the Aegla slowly backed into the Rotala over the span of a couple minutes while facing me the entire time.

As mean as they look, they're one of the most peaceful inverts you can keep. They're only aggressive towards eachother, but that's only for territory. With everything else they could care less.

Fat Homer Fat Homer convict360 convict360 I found someone selling Phenacogrammus aurantiacus. He still has 8 left, which is exactly how many I'm looking for. What are your experiences with these? Are they okay with shrimp? Size? Care? Temperament?

I love the Aeglas too, on the occasions that I see them. Usually I have to pull the tank away from the wall and look through the back, and then I may see one. Last night was the only time in the week I've had them that one came out.

Fat Homer Fat Homer convict360 convict360 Do you know how Congo Tetras do with shrimp? Their behavior should be similar to Phenacogrammus aurantiacus since they belong to the same genus.

Congo tetras will definitely eat young shrimp that are small enough from what i've heard... since an LFS was admiment i dont put any type of fish in with mine, and they tend to sell a lot of tetras from different regions...

-edit-

I should probably have also added that by now, im sure you know most fish will eat any type of shrimp (especially their babies) if they are small enough...

With that being said though, i've always been advised if i wanted to do fish with shrimp to build a really strong colony of shrimp before adding any fish...

That's a tough decision... I don't know when I'll find these tetras again with how rare they are, and I can't buy both atm with how expensive they are.
