Well, you're pond should be low enough that you could run the flexible hose over the wall and into the tank.

Or, you could DIY your own over the wall sections and in tank sections out of pvc pipe and fittings.

Maybe I should have inserted the usual disclaimer: "XXX is not responsible... blah blah blah" :D

Mine is working great still, I don't have any complaints. For the price, you get a LARGE canister filter with decent gph and lots of room for media. I'd recommend buying some extra ceramic rings for the baskets though, they give you some with the filter, but they don't really fill it up. Plus they devote one whole basket to carbon...
 
ugh im so excited for this filter to get here.i need one more heater and another light and this thing will be ready to go! i think im going to go with large river stones for substrate,simply cuz i have no experience with sand.maybe ill add some later but for now its just going to be that since i have billions in my back yard.

Don't do it. You'll regret it. They just collect waste, its disgusting.
