thanks valous, the turtle im worried about has a really flaky shell and his shell also seems very pale compared to the other ones...idk we will see..hopefully he will be alright

Most turtles take some time to get use to a new enviroment. Also he could be sheading right now. I know mine will have a section of shell come off every once in a while. Then some times she will shead about a whole layer of shell in a week or two.

Maybe the bigger tank sparked a growth spirt!

being pale is not always a bad thing. I have 2 red ear sliders that I rescued that someone bought at the same time. one is a nice dark green and the other is a paler green. So the color is not a problem. the flaking is probably a growth spurt. Still keep and eye on them but as long at you have the basking light and the UVB bulb over the dock you have nothing to worry about. except possible needing a bigger tank in the future.

im pretty sure they are all female.the largest one is for sure..the two smaller ones idk.idk if males grow their claws at an older age but if they are all female im screwed lol

i dont remember if you said how big they are. But after looking at the pics there claws are not big at all. I am shooting for 3 females. The good thing about that is that you wont have to worry about breeding. But they all could get to be 13 inches in shell length. So according to the forum that i go to for info you will need a tank about 260 gal, but bigger is better.
