You'll be fine. That is a ton of filtration. Like you said. In Fresh systems wet dry is still a great way to go. You could do 1 of them k1 but I dont see a reason over the wet dry to do that. Wet dry will acheive the same results just as fast as k1 without all the added expense and fussiness.

I got from a company in miami, fl called dolphin fiberglass. I paid $2500 w/ 1 big viewing window. Turn around time was almost 2 mnths.

Here are a few pics of the wet dry filterz i made. There isn't any media in it since it will make them heavy a can be. Ill add it once i have them in place but i get the idea. 1.5" intakes x2 ans 1" drains x2.

The filter looks good, but aren't you going to want the outtakes to be large than the intakes?

The intake will be pressurised by wont, whereas drains wont be?

So the drains will need to be larger?

I'd agree or more drains. I have been redesigning my filtration and I am putting in a "settling chamber". I was playing around with flow to and through the system. I've decided that with about 2000 gph flowing into the chamber I'm doing the drains at 2"x 2. Mine will be setup as a syphon drain so if I do get more "flow" to it it'll be able to handle it plus some. Same with my "remote" wet dry 1 1" in 2 1" out 600 gph flow rate.
