i just bought a 150G tank 60x19x30. the tank has 3 bottom drilled holes in the middle of the bottom glass, 2 on the left and 1 on the right. my question is: " what is my filtration system i can setup?" i already have 2 canister filters in hand from the old tank. i really want to use the sump but i don't want to drill anymore hole on the tank. im planing to keep South American Cichlids maybe Arowana. please help

Im not really familiar with filtration systems, but im sure if you had a spare tank this tank would be perfect for a sump since its all pre-drilled...

Also sorry to burst your bubble, but an arowana wont work out long term in a 150G as you'll need much more width and length for an adult...

If there are already holes drilled you don't need to drill more to add a sump
+1
Also, a sump can be as easy or hard to build as you want. You can build baffles into another tank and carefully fill it with your choice of biomedia, or just put poret foam into a big rubbermaid stock tank. the latter option is easier to clean.
I hope you plan on setting up a refugium or aquaponic setup. I have one on every tank I own. It really helps with water quality between water changes. I am never going back to not having them.

Thank you guys for answering. But these holes are in the middle of the bottoms glass. I cant but a weir in there. From what i researched, if i install the drain line. B/c when power went out, my house will become an aquarium

you can run a pipe up form each hole with a weir on top, you can put two 90 elbows in and rerout them along the back glass, so they won't be in the way, like this.

You could also make the pipes/weirs part of your aquascape and put a diy 3d background around them..
If you put pipes going straight down, you would not have to wait for the power to go out for your house to become an aquarium.

How about column style weir on one end and build decor around it to conceal. Use the other one as a return with a check valve in the line to prevent backflow.

These holes are not really line up with each other. I found a picture online look very close to what i have. 2 on one side close to each other and one on the other side. Very weird design.
