No. You're actually going to pollute it with dead matter. If you don't plan on an UV then living with the green. Nothing wrong with it just harder to see the fish.

I think ill get the fite situated and then $ will be saved up for the uv eventually tats the plan at least..

Could always make some diy filters using 55g drums. Have a pump sucking the water out of the pond and into the top of the drum and then going out the bottom into the pond. Have it heavily planted on the top section and then ceramics and bio balls as the rest. You could have a few of em and make a cover for em a false rock wall.

Get an algae crew in there for you. Flagfish will eat hair algae, clams will eat green water etc.

what kind of clams? no hair algae suprisingly in the pool

oh yea is there anyway i could get a big piece of driftwood for structure thats not like 100+ bucks?

Not sure on the clams, any you can get. Pond clams or any found locally.
