I think ill get the fite situated and then $ will be saved up for the uv eventually;) tats the plan at least..
 
Could always make some diy filters using 55g drums. Have a pump sucking the water out of the pond and into the top of the drum and then going out the bottom into the pond. Have it heavily planted on the top section and then ceramics and bio balls as the rest. You could have a few of em and make a cover for em a false rock wall.

what kind of clams? no hair algae suprisingly in the pool
 
oh yea is there anyway i could get a big piece of driftwood for structure thats not like 100+ bucks?
