What kind of a suggestion is that? It's free and he cant move it so you ask him to sell it??? :screwy:
I never said to sell it :hitting: You put in the auction form 1.00 and put in the ad free. That is were I found a new home for the 2 I had.

dude, i didn't think so either, but a pacu may survive in a cold water lake, i caught a huge one in flushing lake in new york queens, last year, it was march, and the water was at least 45-50 degrees, i'm serious, so if i were you i would dump him in a nice clean lake....then fish him out in the spring, and eat him...

Please do not encourage hobbyists to dump their fish in the wild. It's things like this that give the F&W reasons to ban fish.

Be responsible. If you can't find it a home just eat it. Last time I was in Flushing NY they had Pacu in the live fish section on the market in Hong Kong Plaza

WOW WHAT? U asking me to kill a living 18 inch pacu and to cut him in pieces and feed them to my other monsterfishes? well let me think.......................no I wouldnt kill a fish that big just to feed it to my other fishs. expecially if I saw that fish growing or that its not really mines, however I just wouldnt do it I m sorry. And no I wont dump him on the river or lake, I think thats just stupid cause the chances of it surviving its low. I will keep on looking around and I bet I will find him a nice home. Thanx for the support!

hey sorry for the advice, thats what i would do in a last ditch effort to save the fish, sorry, i'm a realist though, and i know large pacus, are HARD to get rid of period...i guess like with all things prevention is the best remedy, these fish grow huge, however attractive they are as little fish, as with all pets, a pacu is defitnitly a long term commitment, yes they only cost a couple of dollars, but more then likely it will be you, who will be paying in the end. do somthing like this if you care so much for your fish, and i'm sure you do... {50 dollar reward to anyone who can provide my large pacu a home}...with the option of you receiving visitors rites, man that fish would go in a day...good luck, the fish is worth it.

ps. as a Health Author, certified Clinical Nutritionist, and Master herbalist, who works daily with dozens of illnesses, and complaints, I would not encourage ANYONE to consume an aquarium fish, these fish are subject to more pollution, parasites, viruses, and contaminents then all of our wild fish, i don't care how big your tank is, it is quite a serious health risk one takes, when doing so, most of these fish contain sludge parasites, which are NOT killed in the cooking process, and cross the blood brain barrier, wrecking havoc on all of our health systems...Please disgard any such poor advice, it could cost you your life...
