Also, Samolus roots on anything, including any root or stone, so adding driftwood and putting Samolus on it makes it livelier...

Wait a minute, I know who you are, I have been through your palludarium project for your mudskippers a long time ago. Amazing work there!

The mudsierarium is still running. Tried a lot of plants (most from the list above). The plants that established best are Samolus and Vallisnerias, spiralis and gigantea.

What's your salinity at?
This looks like it could be freshwater with how good your plants look

Salinity is fluctuating from 1.003 to 1,006.

Plants don't seem to mind. Ever since they got used to a bit of salt, they've been doing good, without any plant fertilizers.
