Hello, I am setting up 2 patio ponds. Both are half oak whiskey barrels, and roughly 45 gallons. It is 28” Long at the top, and 17.5 inches tall. I have pond liner, and are covering the barrels With it. The patio Ponds are going next to each other. I am still deciding on plants. Getting some tomorrow. Setting one pond up tomorrow. The fish in one will be 3 Goldfish, and the other one will be 3 Dojo Loaches, and some XS dithers in both ponds. Very simple. I will be updating on the build, the fish, and the plants.

Thanks for your time,

Ok, I am setting up the other one tomorrow. Gonna go to Aquatic Warehouse the next day, and pick out a coldwater species. If they dont have something I like, I will get native fish. I would love to get native fish, tho. If they have them, I will get them. C Chicxulub , plzzzz take out my name.

KATALEKEEPER KATALEKEEPER , you will be happy about this update. We are setting up the second one later this week. What is going to go in it? TONS of plants, and either California, or Rainwater killis. As suggested in other threads, I am going to wait till summer or spring on a hot day to get them IF they are tank-raised. I am also going to wait a little bit to add more Corys to the barb pond. Also, I found the other Cory. He is under the flowerpot. He is currently doing fine. My mom, being the devil she is, determined he would be fine. I am rehousing him to pet smart.
