20"+ Polypterus

Actually same thing happened to a few of my 20"+ WC Bichirs(including Godzilla). But it didn't happen at the same time. It was very random and unexpected. Fish showed no signs.

very odd. Sounds like natural causes though. You guys are some of the best poly keepers on the planet. Probably just that individual fish's life span?

OK yeah, so it is a Faranah Lap. It is also stunning. Look at how green it is!

I don't think so broke the PBB is more flat.

The other FARANAH have flat heads but are smaller, same for the smaller PBBs.

Can you get a close-up of your Faranah ?

My faranah lap still small, only 15" but ill take some picture later when i get home.

Im horrible at guessing measurement of my fish. I always underestimate the size. Im pretty sure most of the bunch are at least 15" with my big endli being at least 18" but I wouldnt be surprised if they were all larger... I have advertised fish for sale and been shocked when I actually caught and measured them. I had advertised a 7" bifa and it was 8.75". My 9.5" rhino pleco was 11.5".... so you see my pattern? So conceivably my 18" endli could be 20"
