Finally 1 ft. And I have a completely unexpected funny story about Ronnie the red tail. Some how tonight I was chillen with a few friends and some chicks I didn't know u know having a few drinks. Things started dying down and for some reason I said anyone wanna go pet my catfish! And sure enough these 2 chicks wanted to feed a fish. Lol hot ones to haha. So chilin at my place feeding my redtail. Haha
Note To U Guys.. I Have Been Keeping RTC's For The Past 4 Years Now.. They Can Actually Shoot To 2' In Jus A Short 4-6 months period.. Depending on The Tank Size.. Food intake.. water conditions.. etc.. do tk care of these big boys as they cant tolerate high levels of nitrate or nitrite.. Due to massive food intakes.. We should be expecting massive outputs as well.. Do Enjoy watching them grow.. At a Good 9" they actually allow u to pat them already.. Very nice fishes.. Good Luck To U RTC Lovers..

Glad yours is doing better, tho mine is now having a few problems of his own...hasn't been eating as well and now has a small red mark by his large whisker where he has been scratching at it. Gonna try to find some prazi and treat for parasites.
Tank is about 9-10" now in less than 2 months. I will get a good measurement when I move him from his 30 to his 120 next week. Heres the 120 filtered by a 30gallon sump (5 gallon bucket of bioballs, 5 gallon bucket of cotton) and emperor 400 with carbon and cotton insert.
