Pic didn't work. And to those concerned I have a indoor pond large enough to accommodate a few 3' cats happily. With plans to build a larger pond when he gets about 3ft. So no worries.

Oh and someone brought there poor Rtc into my lfs a few days ago. Things about the same length as the 10gal he was in. Sense there were no other tanks open. Had gill curl bad. I woulda saved him but I just don't have room food another rtc :(

Thats terrible Andy, and as for the ability to house a 3'+ fish, no worries mate, I have dedicated my life to housing mine comfortably.

thats was just a carppy pic off there website, I will get one of me standing next to that monster for perspective, he is a great looking RTC. On the other hand, the arrows they have look really bad...severe drop eye and not all that good looking in general.

Ya I'd have like to have him so he would have a good home but with 2rtcs I'd have to upgrade quicker than I plan...hoping to make it through my 1st yr of med school before I have to upgrade.

You guys are the minority. In the pet trade most rtc's stories end sadly.

Update! Excuse the messy water in the photo, was on a trip for 5 days, no water changes.

Size: 4"
Water Changes: 50% daily, but none for 5 days until today
Tank: Still the darn 10g....never fear he gets a 20 tomorrow and then a 180 because I kinda found a bathtub for him...how ghetto of me. :D:D:D
Diet: Bloodworms, earthworms, peas, shrimp, pineapple, and whiting.
Future Plans: Rig up the bathtub I found for use as a temporary growout. Gonna totally seal up the drain and make a diy filter out of a storage rack most likely. Plus a sand bottom so their color doesn't wash out with the white color, and 3 airstones.
