A word of warning about regani (or any Maskaheros, one of my favorite genera)
I had a pair of regani in a 6 ft tank, until the male killed the female.
So I gave him to a friend with a 250 gal, that already had a 14¨ managuense and a 12¨red devil.

I've thought about it, but hard to find black or rio mag turquoise variants. I don't have social media so it's hard to find breeders
I'm set for a single jag with Nicaraguans, maybe a vieja species down the line, "maybe".
But I do have my 7-8 inch male parachromis multifaciatus I can build around him. I ended up rehoming the female. If I was to build my male, I wouldn't know what to place with him.
