Nice job.

It's pretty much an empty tank right now. 4" firemouth, 2" rainbow (cichlid) and a male Paradise are suffering the cycle of the new setup. Tests yesterday: ammo- .3ppm, Nitrites 2ppm, Nitrates, 0. pH 7.4, temp 82. So...another WC today, but it looks like I'm on the down side of the setup. I think the massive amount of wood in that stump is lowering pH, but my WC with 8.0 is keeping it up.

Since losing the big guys, going to rethink the population plan. More, smaller sounds better!

is the wood in back corner drift wood ? if so are you having problems with the water turning yellow ? the tank is rad i feel it needs to be at splash mountain at disneyland ;) great job on it unique diff and good workmanship . i also want to see fish in there swimming !

Update pics very soon. The wood in the corner was a drift log stump but I am blaming it for a lot of problems so took it out. All of my CA's failed to survive the cycle except a lonely Rainbow. So have swapped to Malawi's (mostly) !

I just did a major water change from one of my garden pools, so as soon as the algae clears I will get pics up.
