8.5 x 3 x 2.5 on the stand I did start filling but.... my leveling is awful, I should be hung for doing such a job, I think my spirit level should also be hung.

Hoping to get some help during the week and relevel it. gah!!!

I filled the curve tank up again and still leaking... seems there was a few leaks!! I got a bit angry and just started ripping the foam out from the edges so I could find the area leaking once I did the tank was drained and underwater silicone was applied. if its stiff tomorrow I will test again. Funny thing is the tank some how does not leak until the 2ft mark then the dripping starts.

My roof is also leaking lol. Luck is just roaming around isn't it.

I've had leaks like that. The pressure builds up and the leak starts. It's very frustrating!

Hey Egon, yeah its a pain. least I found the main leak! just thinking it may be worth resealing the whole front also. Its a drip now but maybe thats a sign not to just patch it up!

I also need to figure away to get the 8x4x3 onto a new stand. as I am going to close the room up for good once I put the big saltwater tank where the doors where, I dont trust the existing stand long term. Its rusting and bubbling + its made from like 1.5 mm steel!!!!!

So does anyone have any amazing ideas? I dont think the tank can even be lifted, which blows the idea of getting a stand at a different height!

Well I did it !!! The Bow front tank " Monster 1" is sealed once again phew. I have a video of me sealing it with water in it need to upload that to show this underwater silicone, life saver.

So the left side of the room is holding water, now I can start on the sumps else it busts in the next few days ....

I got a few pictures of fatty the red tail lol, put him in the 5x2x3 for the time seems to be loving it, I am always amazed at RTCS stomach the thing turns into a dam ballon and he still begs for food uhhh...



I have 1-2 videos also, I will try upload them youtube, it has not been working past few weeks goes @ 1% per 3 hours or something crazy.

Sealing the 550G bow front whilst holding a bit of water, I love the gold label silicone.

excuse the camera hand, I never really record myself doing anything was quite complicated lol.

thanks mate, sadly i spoke too soon. Just as I went to give the fish dinner and received the baby green terror / red devil fry look @ the bow front tank and drip drip drip !!! ARGGGHHHHH seems there were 2 leaks one further up were I did not patch or the silicone did not seal correctly on the side causing it to spill out, I didn't look very well had enough lol. tomorrow!

Thanks mate! So Bow front holds water been 2 weeks

And some others full now also hehe.


New stand for the 8x4x3, adjustable legs and no center legs ^_^ big thanks to the welder for this!!! he also leveled the other stand with the tank on it in under 10 minutes!!!!!!! really made me feel useless haha.
