Ummnn? Yeah, I guess. It works the cieling fan/light in the room.

Move it onto the other side of the wall simple job especially if it’s a stud wall.

Fear Factor!! Just peice of mind I suppose. 2x4's are less than $3.00/each. My real concern is my floor. I put this addition on. It's close to a support wall. The addition is built on 6x6 posts. No matter what I'll be paranoid on fill up with any little creaky noises.

N/M, i took a closer look at the pic, i thought you used a bunch of 2 X 4s for the horizontal supports lol. I need reading glasses.
