240 gal 8' stand

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
The pink stuff is insulation board. The tank will be freshwater. Clown knife, silver arowana. I have a post under knife looking for suggestions for tank mates. I have 2 fluval 404's for this tank. I was gonna get two AC 110's to go with it as well. I really don't like my tank out that far from the wall though. I think I could only get about a 30 gallon underneath for a wet/dry. Will that be enough? It would be a DIY wet dry. Bring on the suggestions. Especially tank mates!!

Great thread!

Did you get specific plans for the base or were they put together on your own? Would love to see them, if possible.

Great work! Beautiful stand! :clap

LOL will work for water LOL

that stand looks great happy everything came a long so nice ..good luck , u should b proud came out great lots o work man

My question is about the tank itself would you reccomend Glasscages how was the shipping on it?

Very nice stand I hope mine will look half as nice ;)

from what ive seen, glass cages is nice, but for what you pay... you could make a bigger one yourself!

Glasscages are great. Much cheaper than Oceanic, Perfecto, and all glass aquariums. I had to drive 150 mile to the pickup point. You meet a semi truck at a truck stop and everyone helps each other unload their tanks. Took only 15 minutes. I would use them again. Building a tank yourself?? :WHOA: I'll stick with working with wood. :headbang2

Shipping was $80.-- When I talked to them on the phone I think they said if more than one tank ordered each additional tank would be $40.00.

Made the doors to the cabinet too? Are you going to make a canopy?
