simply discus is a forum all about discus. kenny chung is a sponsor on that site. he is from daly city california. i would say his discus sells out the fastest out of all the sponsors there. he prolly sells everything out within 1 week after arrival. so you gotta be quick if you want something. the discus you posted on the other page and want. i doubt you'll find one like that in any fish store. even if you do you will most likely pay like $300+ easily. since that one you posted is a show quality.

OR

if you want local and good quality. check out kevin (lucky tropical) on simply discus forum. his name is kevin and is a transhipper from baldwin park. every month or so he would set up group orders. you tell him what you want. and when it comes to his shop in baldwin park you can go pick it up to avoid shipping cost. kevin is also a member here on mfk i think his name is notjustfish he also has a webtsite called notjustfish.com or something like that. kevin is were i bought my albino's from several months ago.

also, your discus are too small for such a large tank. your most likely gonna stunt them if you leave them in that tank. small discus are kinda of a hassle to raise. since you gotta feed them like 5-10 times a day and do daily if not every oher day water change to give them there best growth. or they wont grow as fast and big as you like. i would suggest putting them in a much smaller tank to grow them out. for a tank your size, i would get adults, so you wont have to do as much water change. and the dark background might cause stress bars and peppering to non albino discus. unless you like the look of it. for best coloring you want to brightening up your tank. or spend a lil extra and get albinos and never have to worry about stress bars or peppering and you can have black background and black substrate.

Wow thanks guys for that advice that really helps a lot!!! I'll put them in a smaller tank asap. And for the black background, would u suggest a blue back instead? Or what do u think? And the back is actually painted on :( that's how I got the tank. So would u suggest I line the back up with plants or what do u think and once they get the oeopering does it come off or is it permanent. I'll sign up to si
Ply discus too asap thanks guys

Awesome tank bro. But I would've grown them out in a 55G for a couple of months before moving them to the big dog.......
