for those of you following me on my way to get this tank done through here, i have more pics of what ive done to the stand so far, i got a 60 gallon tank off keystone on here for 30 bucks! thanks key stone. as far as updates, i put two legs in the front then i took the middle leg off, that opening now between the two new legs is going to be how wide the opening window for the refugium is going to be which is 3'. as far as height its going to be about 17" high, so im trying to decide if im going to make a small platform for the 60 gallon to raise it a little more or leave it how it is. theres also another tank i was looking at, its 120 gallon i think the dimensions are 5' long x 20" tallx 18"W that tank would give me more space for the water coming in from the 240, and more room for the water going out. Keep in mind this tank will have about 3 or 4 chambers im looking at 1' for in, with filter pads and heater in there, second will be the section where fish go, and third/ fourth will be either 1' with another filter pad and pump or 2-3" with sponge in there and the rest for the pump to take back to the 240. the last one wont be filled all the way to prevent any overflow. For the 60 gallon its not as much space the 60 gallon is about 6" for the water coming in and 8" for the water going out. As far as the section where the fish will be in thats about 3' x 17"T x 15.5" W so thats about 40 Gallons. I was thinking of putting cichlids in there i some some frontosas i thought those were pretty nice not sure how big they get though so im going to get little ones, or some other colorful ones as well, do all cichlids get along though? ive never had any but the discus, but those dont get along with the other cichlids. anyone have any other suggestions ideas or comments? attatched i also have some pics of my new discus, so far i have 12 discus, might get four more on monday but i have to see them, i want more of the red/ orange
