l never said pac wasn't big or didn't have any hits, i'm saying most his legacy was much much bigger after his death and for reasons OUTSIDE of his raps. all the theatrical b.s. and life style choices

p.s. someone just said big was just the east coast...yeah, the east coast WAS rap back then.

yes, the same way that east coast kids will tell you that biggie and jay z were always the shiznits to them or atlanta kids have love for their atliens etc etc. i'm just refering to the grand scale. i mean seriously, if someone made a song right now called Boston Love and it became a big hit there, would you care? no, but the boston kids might think it's the greatest thing EVER

man im from the east coast even from the boston area and pac and biggy wher big over hear before they died...i listend to pac, biggy ,and big l before they wher even known in the mainstream.... all three had that raw talent that u dont see today...honestly my fave rapper is pac cuz he wasnt just a rapper he was a poet and a icon, who changed the rap industry with not just his voice but his thuoghts ..when the news came out that he was gunned down i think the whole hip hop community was in shock even people that didnt even listen to him.... also rest in piece guru from gange star for thoughs who dont know he was a boston product of roxbury...dorchester..

Like you said earlier POP RAP was the east coast in that time.

i think everyone's getting it twisted and thinking i'm putting down pac, i'm not. i'm just saying alot of his legacy is bigger then rap. it's the court appearances and rape charges. it's girls finding him attractive (especially comparing to biggie smalls). it's the glorifying of gang banging. it's the poetry as some of you keep mentioning. it's the short lived acting career. it's the constant show of love for California. it's reason way beyond the words he spoke on the mic. that's all i'm trying to say. it's not about comparing raps to raps

Blankmanrl, you said you're from one of the carolinas, do you bump little brother from North Carolina?

I have no Idea who you are talking about there. Little brothers sounds like a group that rode the short bus to school lol.

I'm all about the west coast, but I thought tube sock was an idot and was happy to see him smoked.
