Are you sure your not getting him confused with Lil Wayne? IMO, 2pac's music sounds alright, but I have no respect for anyone who uses the "N" word and openly refers to themselves as thugs or gangsters as if it somehow makes them more interesting, deep, experienced (as in life experience in general), etc., so I just can't appreciate his music at all even if I make a concious effort to try to.

I've never noticed an auto-tune sound to any of the songs I've heard, but I don't listen to rap very often, so IDK.

Not tryna be funny or anything...but this thread is kinda pointless. I understand everyone has varied taste and opinions in music, but this comparison is a JOKE. Tupac is and always will be in a seperate league from eminem. Im not taking anything away from Eminem, he is very talented and has sold millions, but some things jus cant be compared, and this is one of them. If you want to compare people wit Pac, let it be people in his era. Big, Big L, Big Pun, Wu Tang, Nas, Ice Cube, Easy E, and etc. And like already stated.....Eminem has never touched and had as large a influence on all types of people, no matter race, creed or color. You can take it for wat its worth....jus stating facts.

Em has made more money, and even if pac was alive he would have never earned as much. the only reason people put all this stuff with pac, such as touching people, is because he died. if he hant he would have fadded away by now just like 99% of other rappers. how much contriversy did pac drum up compared to em??

em does not use auto tune. if heard most of his music and he has never used auto tune

well said...also rappers in this generation look up to pac as a icon and a legend and are influnced in pac and prob started rappin because of pac....so there is no way u can compare the generations...pac was in my generation im 28 yrs old , and i listen to eminem i think he is the best in this generation but u cant even compare him to pac thats just ....
