Just wait until you add that eel! I have a 10" black spotted eel and it's unreal how quickly he devoured the 36 ghost shrimp I just put in my tank.
Right now he's in there with a smaller ornate, a 7" BGK, 3 ropes, and a bunch of giant danios. The eel will snap at the danios, but isn't aggressive towards anything else. Him and the BGK actually hang out together quote a bit.

Sounds like me trying to keep red cherry shrimp alive in their own tank
Well at least some of the cherry shrimp are alive. Found a couple in the sump during water change.
