Well at least some of the cherry shrimp are alive. Found a couple in the sump during water change.

Of all the polys on here that one is one of my favirotes. Very unique looking poly. The almost jet black with little green specs is such a cool combo

One of the ropefish didn't make it. Kind of expected though. Looked like a swim bladder issue. Definitely came with it. Not the best supplier, hadn't taken to food yet, still a baby. I pretty much expect a 50% life expectancy on baby ropes. Other one is acting fine so far, but still not eating yet. No biggie, not even been a week.

When I went back to get a refund though, they had this guy.


An absolutely massive bamboo shrimp! Like 5" massive! I thought it was a crayfish!! So I got it obviously. He took some getting used to the tank then did exactly what I expected. Parked himself right in front of the output, fans wide open, enjoying life.

And while looking at him, I also noticed this guy!



So with the one I saw in the sump, at least two survived!

In other news, I swung by uncle ned's fish factory yesterday and picked up this beauty



A 9" Mastacembelus ellipsifer. Already made friends with everyone and found a pipe to call his own.
