Thanks. Still running fish. Just nothing of the monster variety.

Biggest thing I have at the moment is a 10" common Pleco

I will also toss in a glad to see you.

Hope life settles in for you,

Congrats on the marriage, and sorry to hear about the troubles.

Cant wait for the day to see it done.

Best Luck,

Bear

Hello all. Again I'm sorry this build got put on Hiatus. I'm hoping to get it rocking again here in the near future.

Need to order my piece of glass and get it sealed. Have sealant on hand. Just need the glass and the peso's to do so.

Muni, you're my hero !:headbang2
I don't care how long it takes, I'm sticking it out to the end.
I have been doing a build myself, but I haven't posted anything until it's complete. That way nobody is anxious but me. I have a wife and a daughter and now a grand-daughter who all come before the build.
Good luck with the schooling, and smart move paying as you go.
That's how I did college myself.
Looking forward to the updates, whenever we get them.

May have finally gotten(grown) my source of income. I've had a batch of Kribensis babies in my two fry tanks growing out to sellable size. I spoke with some LPS and sold half dozen today. She'll be looking for more as soon as she moves them but she is a fairly small operation.

About 100 babies at 2 bucks each equals a piece of glass for a 300 gallon build.

Again you're my hero ! Make the fish pay for the new aquarium.
How great is that !

I think the response-per-view is because no one wants to get their hopes up.

How many threads have we seen get this far and then fall off the map. Who was the guy with the 24 foot long office tank that had pictures of that beast through the whole build, up to filled with 1 fish but never came back to show a finished product? That thread went on for months.

I'm pretty active on these boards and I don't comment on build threads unless I feel like I have something to add to the discussion. You seem more than competent and it doesn't seem like you need any help/advice.

So was reading through my thread since it's been a while and came across this one. Damn if didn't call that one right on the money.

Ok. I'm motivated to get cracking on my big tank. So here is the first update in a while.

I wanted to refill my sump for a while to see the long term waterproofing ability of the pool paint/sealant I used. But when I looked under my stand the sump box wasn't in there. Little did I know my wife has been using it for a shelf in the corner of our kitchen under the counter for some time. She put some mesh pad material down to protect it but it seems to have bonded to the rubber paint. Not sure how much will come off.

This is how it looks after pulling the pots and pans out of it. Notice the blue crap stuck to it.

Going to fill it and see if i get any leaks and if I can get the blue junk off of it.

Edit: wow that box looks really distorted in that picture. Not sure how that happened.
