But bush is right find out what filter is on it and how it works.

It's impossible to Buy off the shelf filters...solar heaters and the like for a CUSTOM built one off fish tank...

It's big...but NOT big enough for what your planning to stock in it. The pump(s) your looking for are in the 1 to 2 horsepower range and the filter your going to have the most luck with is a swimming pool sand filter. Basicly that comes to about 3 grand for filtration alone without the cost of the tank and without the cost of lighting...heating...ect.

It CAN be done but NOT the way your going about it. Building a couple of huge bio towers is a place to start.

what do you plan on putting in there?

if we get the tank were gonna get some gigas, allogator gar, aba aba knife fish, pacu, arowana, rtc, tsn, paroon shark, and koi. at least thats what i wanna get.

.

The filter that comes with it is little more than a re-circulating system with a course screen to catch large debris.

thanks, I couldnt be bothered to read through all the pages...

this tank is designed to hold game fish, so the biggest fish that they would put in there is a pike or musky so ya those fish that you have listed wouldnt do well in there because it is to narrow for them...

edit: Rule of thumb the width the the tank should be the length of the adult fish...

You could always stock it with G-string clad young ladies and charge admission.....

I know this thread turned into a saga in hours. Truthfully I hate to doubt anyone but I can't see two teenage boys setting up that tank and making it work. Especially when the info that's been thrown at them hasn't soaked in. Just hope if they do get it they take the advice and don't end up with a algae infested cold tank with overgrown fish.

I guess these 2 brothers are controversial lol
