3500g 40' tank

joke? lol i know on big tanks you don't need that much filtration compared to smaller ones, but i still wouldn't dare overstock with 2-3x filtration on that thing.

I have an overstocked (in many persons opinion) 265 with about 2.5x turnover rate and I've never been able go get ammonia or nitrite to register on my test kit.

by the design what will help pump water thrugh the 400 to 500 gallon tank to enable a higher gph, a bio tower or scrubbies w/d?

Studies have not yet proven which filter design is better for an imaginary tank.

broken test kit for sure!

i guess it wouldn't astonish me, as i've never had any ammonia or nitrites read on any of my tanks since cycled....even my 29 that was majorly overstocked, underfiltered and the filter even crap'd out on me for a month....probably was turning over 100gph

What about my 300 with 3X turnover or my 125 with a sponge filter and an XP3?

I'd hate to see the turnover rate in my 110 (2 sponge filters...that's it)
