Very interesting piece but like they said how are you going to run all the wires? and you better make sure no one falls on it or cracks it. but it is a very interesting piece deffinatly a conversation peice. Can i ask how much you paid for it?

i got the thing filled up today and tomorrow it will get some fish. i got the tank for 40, 5 dollars of 2x4, 6 dollars in tabletop glass from a thrift store, and another 5 for the round tabletop, for a grand total of..... $61!! then i put another 100 into equipment :( but woohoo DIY :)

nice hooka......er and tank ^_^ neat.

Interesting idea, but I think you might have trouble with that tank not being tempered. One accidental kick, a dropped fork that bounces just the right way, etc...

Good luck!

Good luck!

all guests are briefed on the punishments for tank abuse upon entry.

the beer rings required quite the thrashing already, i had to make an example of the first offender.

so i was admiring my new coffee table aquarium i recently set up and noticed something floating around in the current. i looked close and it was moving! the body was about half an inch long and it just looked like a large maggot wiggling around, but then... it had a tail! the tail was at least the length of the off white body and dark brown. next it got a hold on some gravel and began to crawl around, as i got my camera out to get a pic for you guys it burrowed up to the base of its tail then stopped. its tail extended to over an inch and started to wiggle like a worm!!!
now obviously it is a parasite of some kind that wants to be eaten by a large fish to carry out the rest of its life cycle, but has anyone heard of this thing? i'm pretty sure it came out of the grape wood i added because it was soaking in a stock tank outside for a few months.
