alright, heres the tank. he wouldn't come out, but i feel the tank has been redeemed with the addition of a rtcxtsn!!!

My first thought when you posted the pic of it dry then with water....That would be a pretty damn sweet reptile tank instead.

How do you have the wires run to a power source? Kudos if you kept them out of sight or cleanly done in such a way that they don't attract attention.

I think it was a great idea, but I would would go crazy with paranoia of someone breaking it... it would drive me insane.. maybe I need to be on drugs.

thanks nes999, he'll be moving to the pond when he get big enough not to be eaten by the rtc. so about 10".

i ran the wires all together down the side we usually don't see. i will be putting each piece of equipment on a rocker switch, and only run one wire away from the tank. should be much better.

i got all the bulbs and wiring to include a much better lighting system as well. there will be 4 42 watt 5000ks and two actinics to bring out some color. i should have all that up and running monday night.
