5 sided plywood tank?!

You won't need practice with a compound miter saw. As long as you measure right a chop saw makes a perfect cut every time..even angles! Circular saws are a different story...lots of practice helps! If not, you can clamp a straight egde and use it as a guide. I did that for cutting out the front and side viewing panel holes. Wanted them perfect.
That's strong!!!!!!

It really comes down to having the right tools...like angles, I use a bevel square to figure out the angle I need, then take that to the saw and use it to set the angle on the blade. Lots of little tricks like that make me look like a skilled carpenter...which I'm not! A good table saw will make you look good too. Lol, if you were present for one of my builds it would really change how you think about my skills!

I'll admit, the day I filled it I was a bit nervous. I really wasn't worried about a major failure or anything. I was more worried about a minor leak that would cause me to have to drain and fix or something like that. I overbuilt the tanl just so I could sleep at night! That tank is in my bedroom btw!! I was WAY more nervous the day I added my prized fish to the tank. I did not want to lose my rays...would have devastated me! I'd rather have an all out flood!! Lol

Somebody understands!!!!!!!!!! I butchered the hell out of one of the legs for my stand with a circular saw. I measured like 8 times and still cut it like 1/4" too short hahahaha
