50G planted tank setup journal

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Wow! This is getting more exciting every update! And you have red plants now, great! Are you planning to add "guppy grass" on top of that driftwood?

Honestly wasnt really planning on adding anything to the driftwood to prevent it from blocking the light to the HC, plus im trying to keep it somewhat low maintenance :)

Actually, i should've added that i did at one stage consider adding christmas moss to the wood, but again, didnt want to deal with taking care of a moss...

I see the planting bug bit you:) Looks real nice. You got a talent for this.

^ Thanks, although i still have a lot to learn ;)

After dealing with low light plants for so long decided it was either saltwater or planted... So decided planted was more my thing since i like seeing a scape come together over time :)

Not to mention having seen some nice tanks on here really got me to give it a shot...

^ Naos, where in China are you? Coz if you are in Guangzhou, there is a massive fish market called Yue Hei fish market or something which i've seen all types of fish and inverts being sold at...

Yeah definitely worth checking out... Although from Shenzhen to Guangzhou will take probably and hour or two by train...
