The stand is build out of 2" tube steel (1/8" thick) by a local welder. It has been painted then trim and doors were attached.

The shark is here to stay. It would be very difficult to find a better home for him locally.

Amazing tank. Could you elaborate on how the trims were attached to the frame? Any close shots of how the woods fit together?

Great looking tank!!! I think if you buy a bunch of pool filter sand, it'll look real good in there as a substrate!!! Real light and fine, but not so fine it'll get sucked up.

Can we get some shots of the filtration???
