How about some small cats like bumble bees, get a group of them. If you are into cihclids try some acaras or firemouths.

I was actually thinking of putting in a more common cichlid (ie firemouth) but I figured it would beat on everyone. I've never heard of a bumblebee cat fish...google here I come!

Firemouths are actually pretty peaceful as far as cichlids go. They dont grow too large either. Jewel Cichlids and convicts stay small too, but they can be on the aggressive side.
imo you'll be fine with your 400 and good water changes. You aren't having a huge bioload with the fish on your list. Plants will help too. Keep it simple, it's more fun that way.

The more I think about this tank the more I want to make it a Biotope tank, or try to at least. I might make it a Biotope from Sumatra if I can find a decent list of fish, so far all I have is the Tiger barb lol

I would not suggest mixing the clowns, barbs, scissortails and tiger barbs with glass catfish and dwarf rasboras. The dwarf rasboras are best kept by themselves. Why not just replace the clowns with kuhlis or sids and erase the dwarf rasboras off your list?Amaroq;2516416; said:
