55 predator tank

Im setting up a 55 and want to turn it into a predator tank and need some help with the stock list

i thought you said you wanted a catfish?

a brown knife could do very well in a 55g and is very predatorial

I just left my LFS and saw a nice pike cichlid that made me wanna start a new tank.

that reminds me, you could do a belly crawler pike in a 55g nicely, but they are best kept alone due to lots of aggressiveness and territoriality

I have two 55 gals set up a 60 and a 75 the catfish would go into one of the 55s

I've been thinking about doing something like this too. I have a new 55 I just setup a couple days ago I bought for my three bichirs (senegals). It's a barebottom setup with a black background and a black bottom... I've been thinking REAL hard whether I want to do a CYBR style bichir tank (which i'm leaning towards), being strictly bichirs and overstocked, or if I want to do a nice, clean bare bottom predator tank. I have plenty of time to decide, but I am curious to hear some of the answers to this aswell.

oscars
stuff like that should do fine for a while if you get them young
