So i spend $70ish on the tank, $10 on the wood $20 on the lights and $20 more on the heater and then i need to find glass tops. And then i don't get a filter with it too. So that would cost alot more in the long run

I have one near me and i called them, they don't carry the aqueon kit but they carry the top fin one. I asked but they wouldn't price match it for me.Gruntking;5065593; said:If you have a petsmart closeby, they will pricematch the PetCo price as well

Gruntking;5065744; said:Well they wont price match because its not the same brand... Try looking for one online and see if theyll do it. Ask to speak with the manager as hes/shes the one that makes the decision.

I can't believe you are having such a hard time getting a 55g complete setup in your location. They have at least 2-4 of those little aquaon complete setups at every lfs here and my lfs selections suck.
EDIT: Oh, and on a side note... I noticed you didn't enclose the top of your stand in the back or front. If you revise it and add a lip on the back to add a few more inches for front to back, or depth, many standard 75g and 90g are only 4 ft long and make up for the gallons in depth and height. If you were to find a craigslister with such a tank (which is a common size for some 75 and 90g) you could sneak in the extra gallons with out Mom and Dad knowing.![]()
