Wow! Both are awesome fish. The regani, are they a dwarf pike? What is the adult size? The herotilapia, they look like they get to be about the size of convicts. Is this correct? How are both of these species aggression wise? And are there any compatible tank mates for either of them?

Granted I haven't kept either of these species, but I've been obsessed with them and once I move a few of my fish around I will definitely get them. To answer ur questions:
Yes, regani are dwarf pike, I believe they max around 5-6", and have read that u can keep up to 6 of them in a 20 long. They are also, to my understanding, the least temperamental of the dwarf pikes. I'm sure they can actually be kept with the multispinsa, given a big enough tank.

As for herostilapia multispinsa, they won't get anywhere near the size of a male full grown convict, they hit like 3.5", I've heard they're among the smallest of cichlids and a quick YouTube search will show u them with sajicas, swordtails, even bigger cichlids. Apparently they can be kept with bigger cichlids because they're so small they don't pose a threat to them :) but like I said, I haven't kept these species I'm just regurgitating what I've read lol
