The last be is really good, if the aperture was set at f11 the entire fish would have been in focus..

Yes. But, there must be more light for a really clear shot. At f/11 would require a slower shutter speed and/or more light. Plus, you must lower the shutter speed to a slow speed for a proper/close to a better exposure. A off camera wireless, and/or a hotshoe cord, flash would work perfect.

This shot was taken in a heavy lit room with a lot of sun shine.

Lens- 17-55mm f/2.8
range- 55mm
Flash: sb-900 shot in remote mode.
TTL BL (Through The Lens) +0.7
shutter speed 1/200

If I was to shoot the same photo with a lower f/ stop and a slower shutter speed, everything would have shown up.

yep this is my problem, i need a flash so that i can turn down all my settings and get nice pix

hahaha there was flash... a little less impressive i think i might bump it up to 1/25 i got a bunch of ones with like a little ghost thing lol
and ed feel free to post some pix on this thread if you get a chance to take some updated photos
