36 inches long and 24 inches tall and 18 inches in depth. These dimensions kinda change my answer for your stock. I wouldnt put anything but the 2 bps in that tank except the danios
I moved all my community fish from my 30 gallon tank. To my 65 gallon tank. But I moved the Fire mouth to the 30 gallon by himself. The BPs and community fish used to be together. They seem to have always got along with community fish. Just not Cichlids 3-5 inches. Any cool fish mates for a Fire mouth in a 30 gallon tank. My Fire Mouth is petty mellow. Thanks!!!!
Regardless of how well the BPs get along with community fish, they are cichlids and when any cichlid species is introduced with other cichlids there is a chance they will not get along and fight. To the BP's, that's their tank and adding a new fish is a risk due to established territories. Putting anything in a 30 gallon tank with a Firemouth is a recipe for disaster. It's mellow right now because it's stressed out, but add anymore fish and once it settles in, it's going to go on a warpath. That's too confined of a space for a cichlid that can reach 8-9" to live with anything else. You could try removing the BP's and all other fish, re arranging the decor and putting the Firemouth in first, then add the BP's a few days later. If there is still aggression you're going to have to get rid of the FM and just stick with the set up you had going on. Having a 3 foot by 18 by 24 tank really limits what you can do for both bio load and stock. Now if you got a double stand and another breeder tank and put beneath it, well then you could have the BP's and current set up plus a pair of FM, Rainbow Cichlids or something from the Cryptoheros genus.

The FM is the only fish in the 30. Can i keep the fire mouth by himself in the 30 gallon tank. The 65 gallon looks soooooooo cool with all the smaller fish and the BPs. I thought FMs only got 4-7 inches not 8-9 inches. The Fire mouth acted mellow in the tank at the pet store with look a million other Cichlids. I geus i will keep 1 fire mouth in the 30 gallon tank. The fire mouth is not being active. But i am not suprised because he was stressed by the bps. The community fish are already in the 65 gallon tank. I really like the 65 gallon tank more wit 2 BPs and community fish.
