lol I figured as much.. but I'de hate to hold my tounge and have you one day go "WTF is going on?!"
Very nice CK, I woulda taken a chance with one with so many spots as well. If the biggest is about 9" atm I'de wait until he's pushing closer to 12"... 20"deep I'm assuming with the measurements for me would concern me abit.. Unless they are a very mellow group. the problem with giving them more room to stretch particularly in tanks is if they spook the more force they generate until they slam into the glass, and the more likely damage sustained is life threatening ect... If your water perameters are holding steady ect I'de wait it out abit longer, if you are having to do massive water changes daily ect to keep up.. then its prolly worth the risk. It's just a hard call to make. I made the call to move a juvi flg from a 20 to a 40 at around 6-7"... he ended up with a kink in his neck that never straightened out from what i can only guess was spooking into the glass at one point. I found my flg once 12" or so seemed to just chill out, be it from being in my care and use to their surrounding so long, or just mellowing with age ( like a kitten or puppy does) idk.. But just be careful not to give them to much room to fast.
And ty for the kind words.
