Related to diseases and sickness? I would listen to kn04te, rocksor, tlindsey, deadeye.
You forgot RD, other than that everyone else is who I go to when I have questions regarding those species.

I have a feeling this thread may get taken down soon...

But I believe my opinion must be heard.
I would suggest get what YOU want out of what has been recommended.
So that basically is most fish, since, unless I am mistaken, is now 1500 gallons (I can use gallons instead of litres in Australia! Shocking!). Go with something iwth a big personality that looks good from the top. For me that would be a Murray Cod. They are awesome, as a young kid my Grandad had one in a pond in the backyard and it would follow you around as you walked in the garden. It was a bit similar to this video:
.
Anyway, don't use Seriously fish as a resource for arowana.

It won’t get taken down, cause we were just giving a suggestion for silver arowana for the pond.

Florida/ longnose gars will look nice from the top, so would silver arowanas, stingrays, redtail catfish

I am going to build a 700 gallon pond for some Monster fish and I was wondering what type of fish would be relatively on the cheaper side but still cool fish. This would be in a shed and freshwater. I was thinking a TSN

i would get 2-3 florida gars , some bichirs ( endlicheris / lower jaws ) and hmm.. wierdly enough i would actually consider having like in the corner of the aquarium perhaps build up by other decorations a biiiig moss like plant with literally as many schooling fish that breeds alot as possible like maybe 50-100x sounds wierd but in my mind atleast i think that would be super cool C: , ( i love aros and sting rays and so far havent kept them ) but also its seems a bit ''basic'' meaning that pretty much every single 300+ gallon tank i've ever seen has them :/
