Aussienative- Yeah, I worked on the background all day today. First, tried painting the back of the tank- stike one- too hard as there is only 3" from the back of the tank to the wall. Second, tried to paint the back wall- strike two. Didn't like the looks. I went to Home Depot and found some 48"x32" compressed particle board with a thickness of about 1/8". Then I cut the three sections out and painted them semi gloss black and mounted them to the back of the tank. Turned out really well and it looks *****in.
Here are a few shots at night with just the tank lights on. I am getting better with this cheesy camera. I still get alot of glare from the overhead flourescent lighting. I am in the process of making a hood for the light to shine down on the tank.

Can you tell me how feet long,wide,high it is? Gallons mean nothing to me (Aussie, We use ltrs)
