75g tank stand.

Tomorrow I’ll be moving the 55 onto the ground and getting rid of the table it’s on to make room for the 75. I plan on draining the 55 3/4 of the way so I can somewhat easily move it to the floor and out of the way and then fill it back up like a water change and then the day after that after work I should have my paycheck and be able to go buy the tank and stand or mom might have to pay the like 50$ I’m missing and I’ll pay her back when I get the paycheck. Then once I get it in place and set up I’ll add the gravel from the 55 along with more new gravel along with the filter media and let it run and cycle for a few days with a bit of water from the 55 and the rest just from tap water. Does this sound like a good plan? It’s my first time doing anything like this so I’m a bit nervous.

Don't move the 55G with more than a two inches of water in it unless you have assistance from at least one other person because it will put too much stress on the tank.

My vote always goes to building your own. I know lumber prices have been extreme recently but it seems like they are coming down. You don't need much space at all to achieve this, and only very basic tools. I could literally knock one out now using the tailgate of my truck as a workspace.
