Got a 75g tank from a friend wanted to keep a single max aggressive fish in it. Any suggestions?

Polleni, hi-fin red wolf fish

what do you want from the aggressive fish? Do you want it to only pay attention to you if you gave food? Do you care if it doesn’t swim much?

Might even upgrade the tank if the fish doesn’t have much space to swim
Thanks for the help though

Most H.malabaricus on this site aren’t much larger than 16’’.

Are piranhas legal by you?
Some Serrasalmus that are about 12 inches.

These are tried and true wet pet types for a tank that size, but really any cichlid that doesn't grow larger than 12" would work ime. Of course if you do decide to upgrade tanks in the future thats even better.
What about a Jag?
