this is by far one of my favorite tanks on this site. good stuff man

Thanks for the kind words. Glad you like it.

Loving the loaches!! How many are in there?

I really like them too. There are 18 of them that range from 4" up to 9". I sold one of the biggest CLs (8") because he was a menace...at feeding time he would turn into a psycho and chase every fish in the tank...wasn't having any of that so now he lives in a 600G with a Butti, GG and some other big bruisers.

You may have already answered this but it's been a while since I've read through this entire thread, what are the rings on the surface of the water for?

No worries, it's a feeding ring I made to keep food from being sucked into the overflows.

I'll try to post a video tonight.

Crazy, I bet it was fun trying to catch him in there!

I was dreading trying to catch him, but I lucked out...he was actually hiding in a pipe so I just pulled it out with him still in it...took me all of 5 seconds. :headbang2

Catching the Red Texas that went psycho/aggro was a different story...took me 2 hours to catch him. :irked:

looks real good, awsome tank

Thanks outlaw.

That green terror is so small compared to the wide bars. Great looking tank and fish.

Yeah, the GT's only 4" to 5"...he's a little runt...slowest growing fish in the tank.

I would say the wide bars are 8"+. I've heard they can grow to over 12" (I think ArapaimaG has some in his huge tank that are over 12")...I'm curious to see how big these guys will get.
