ok to clear a few things up .. this is the same fish in my avatar when he was young.. this was taken from the website when it was still up and running.. i would say that that is a decent sized fish and has no patterns on its anal or pectoral fins

thanks for sharing.... bro mine looks like that....the yellow and spot..is just when you use camera..flash >yellow and some of the color washed away...I am confident is a kelberi...and yes is like other fish...some are better looking or different color or marking than the rest....we will see..and I will post more pictures this time without flash ...also I know that bare tanks got something to do with it's color....maybe I will put a dark gravel just too see if the color will be different..

Yes, my fish. In that pic it was approx 4"-5". With that said, I am not convinced it is a kelberi. At least not pure. It may be a naturally occuring hybrid. The Teles Pires are shaped quite differently than the Sao Francisco kelberi in addition to having quite different coloration and patterning. They are quite elongated and their lower jaw protrudes to a much greater extent than the SF's.

Here's a pic of the same fish at approx 8"-9". Still little to no spotting in the anal and ventrals.
