Sweet! Wish I had something like that in my basement

The rays look really good man

looks good. I bet they are loving the new set up.
The CK look good to. They look about the same size as the ones I have.. I bet they are loving the extra space.

Glad to see everything worked out and its up and going.

Excellent thread!!!!!!!!!!
very informitive, good-look with it!!!!!!!

3 of them are Mantilla, the other one is a motoro. Everyone seems to be loving it, swimming around allot.

Everything is still working good, only issue right now is the fishmate sponge filter leaking. Apparently fishmate has an aversion to using good seals. The fishmate sponge filters work great, you just got to be prepared to silicone the hell out of them. Got silicone drying now, probably fire it up again tonight or tomorrow.

It sounds like the silicon is working for you but theoretical you should not need silicon to seal it. Most likely you have a rolled O ring or some dirt in the seal. If you cant get that leak to stop with the silicon ya might want to "bite the bullet" and remove the O ring and clean the area completely. Also replace the O ring with a new one.

I wish it was that simple, I actually have 2 of these and both of them had the same issue. Well one had a bad O ring to, but both of them have an issue where they leak from just behind the input and/or output ports. They don't really have any seals in there, just some screws and plastic. Siliconed the last one that's on my 10x14 and its been fine since, hopefully this one will be to.

Just joined this thread this morning to comment on the 2700G basement tank and your HUGE tank.

Excellent work, inspirational and informative. Read this threat at work from start to finish.

Looking forward to future updates.
