That 1 kilowatt heater might be overkill since this pond is insulated, but then again since you are making it super beefy I guess 1 kilowatt is perfect. Also would you be adding a hot tub cover so that it stays even warmer? Maybe you wrote that you would I may have missed it.

Liner is in, homemade filter is up and running. Pics to follow hopefully this weekend.
 
Okok, as soon as I am home from work Ill snap a few. I still need to put the top plate on though to hide the edges of the liner.
 
I will be using the top plate as a clamp basicaly. Screw the top plate down to secure the liner. Liner is folded over the edge, and cut after top plate install. I am taking extra measures and using a bead of Silicon between the liner and the top plate.
